Overview

About Radiogram

Radiogram is a modern internet radio and podcast player for iPhone, iPad, and Mac, designed for discovering and listening to audio from around the world. It provides access to more than 40,000 live radio stations across 40+ languages and thousands of genres and categories. The catalog includes music, podcasts, news, ambient audio, meditation, soundtracks, comedy, audiobooks, fan stations, and niche radio categories.

Discovery is a central part of the app. Listeners can search by station name, genre, country, language, or keywords and use filters to narrow the results. Radiogram also includes categories, recently played stations, nearby stations, popular stations, trending station rankings, likes and visit counters, and random station discovery. These tools make it possible to find a familiar station quickly or explore radio from countries and genres you may not normally encounter.

Radiogram is built to feel native on Apple devices. It supports background playback and integrates with the Lock Screen and Control Center, allowing playback to be controlled without keeping the app in the foreground. Home Screen widgets provide quick access to listening, and Apple Watch integration extends controls beyond the iPhone. Users can switch between grid and list layouts, choose light or dark themes, use alternative app icons, and move between a compact mini-player and a full-size vinyl-inspired player. A car-friendly mode is also available for simpler interaction while driving.

Music discovery is supported through Shazam-powered track recognition and automatic lookup across multiple music-data sources. When a station does not provide reliable track metadata, listeners can identify the song currently playing and save recognized tracks for later. Stations can be added to favorites directly from the player, while listening history makes it easy to return to something heard earlier. The player can show the station logo and current track information when that information is available.

The app is useful for many different listening situations. Someone can use Radiogram for everyday music, follow news and talk radio from another country, find content in a particular language, listen to podcasts, relax with ambient or meditation stations, explore soundtracks and comedy, or simply discover unfamiliar local stations and genres. The goal is to make a very large worldwide radio catalog practical to browse instead of forcing listeners to know exactly what they are looking for in advance.

Most core Radiogram features are available for free, with optional paid upgrades for additional functionality. According to the App Store privacy information, the developer states that the app does not collect data. Radiogram focuses on combining worldwide radio discovery, podcasts, favorites, listening history, song recognition, and native Apple playback integrations in one application. It is intended to give listeners a straightforward way to search, organize, recognize, and play audio while keeping the experience consistent across iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
