About Lash Map Lab

Lash Map Lab is a free browser-based planning tool for people who use cluster lashes and want a clearer way to plan a look before applying it. The idea is straightforward: a lash map should help you work with the lengths you actually have, rather than leave you trying to copy an example that uses a completely different tray. I am Julian Tao, the owner of Lash Map Lab, and I am sharing the product here.

The generator lets you choose an eye shape, a style, the lengths available in your tray, and a cluster count. These choices create a starting map that you can edit. You can then download a map to keep as a reference. A generated suggestion is not a rule that you must follow; the editing step is there so you can adjust the plan instead of treating the initial result as a finished answer.

The site includes information about cat-eye, doll-eye, natural, and wispy styles, as well as guides organized around eye shapes. Those pages provide another way into the planning process for someone who knows the look they want but does not yet know how to describe it in the generator. Someone browsing for inspiration can read a guide, while someone who already has a tray and a style in mind can go directly to the tool.

Lash Map Lab works in a web browser, including on mobile. You do not need to install a native app, upload a photograph, create an account, or pay to use the generator. The map-generation logic is deterministic rather than AI-based. We do not present it as an AI beauty assessment or as a substitute for an individual consultation. It is a practical way to organize a set of choices and produce an editable visual reference.

A useful first session is to choose the lengths you own, select a style, review the suggested arrangement, and make any changes before downloading. You can also use different plans as starting points when learning what you prefer. The purpose is to make planning more understandable, not to promise that one arrangement will suit every person or every lash product.

Please treat every map as a planning suggestion. Follow the instructions and precautions provided with your lash products, and seek appropriate professional advice when needed. This is not medical advice or a professional fitting service. The website is free to explore at https://lashmaplab.com/, and the interactive tool is available at https://lashmaplab.com/lash-map-generator. We welcome practical feedback about the clarity of the maps and the experience of editing them, especially when using a phone.
