Overview

About Kenko

Kenko is a shared scheduling calendar built for small medical and dental practices: clinics with a few doctors, a busy front desk, and no appetite for a six-week software rollout.

Most practice management systems are built for hospitals and priced like it. Smaller practices end up juggling a paper appointment book, a shared calendar and a spreadsheet of patient notes, and double bookings creep in when two people edit at once. Kenko replaces all of that with one calendar the whole team sees and works in at the same time.

What it does

Multi-doctor calendar. Every doctor gets their own column on a 15-minute grid, so the front desk sees the whole day at a glance and finds a free slot in seconds. Switch to the week view on desktop when planning ahead.

Colour-coded appointments. Each appointment type has its own colour, and each appointment carries a status you update as the patient moves through the visit. Hover over any appointment to see its details without opening it.

Patient records in the same place. Click an appointment to open the patient's details and visit history. Keyboard-shortcut search finds any patient straight from the calendar, without leaving the schedule.

Built for the daily routine. Duplicate an appointment to a new date for follow-ups, print the day's schedule for the treatment rooms, and check the day's summary numbers at the top of the calendar. Light and dark mode are both included.

Team accounts with sensible security. The practice owner invites doctors and staff, and owner and staff roles keep practice settings in the right hands. Every change to a patient record is logged in an audit trail, and sessions lock automatically after 15 minutes of inactivity, so a screen left open at reception doesn't stay open to anyone walking past.

No onboarding call. Sign up, add your doctors and appointment types, and start booking the same day. There is nothing to install: Kenko runs in the browser on any computer at the practice.

Pricing

One simple plan: 49 euros a month per practice, with unlimited doctors, unlimited staff accounts and unlimited appointments. No per-seat fees that grow every time you hire. Start with a 14-day free trial, no credit card required, and cancel anytime.

Who it's for

Dental offices, family and specialist practices, physiotherapy clinics and other practices with roughly one to ten providers who want a shared, reliable schedule without the price and complexity of a full practice management suite.

Behind the project

Kenko is built and run by an independent developer. It started from watching small practices lose time to double bookings and scattered patient notes, and every feature so far came from the same question: what does the front desk actually need at 8:55 on a Monday morning? Feedback from practices decides what gets built next, so if you run or work in a clinic, try it and tell me what's missing.
