Your past feedback, conventions, decisions and changes, captured from your sessions and files. Claude Code and Codex recall them on every prompt, when relevant.

It's all on pages you can read and edit. Delete a line and your agents stop seeing it.

I build with agents every day. My project notes go stale within a week or two. Then I end up typing the same correction to the agent again. "Money is stored as integer cents." "Don't touch the legacy /v1 export - two customers still use it." New session, same story.

Substrate keeps that context for you. It captures what you decide and correct in your Claude Code and Codex sessions, plus the files you upload, and puts it on a project Wiki page. Decisions, past corrections, conventions, what changed, open tasks.

Getting started takes a few minutes.

1) Install the Claude Code plugin with one command and sign in with OAuth. No API keys.

2) Upload a few project files and watch your first page appear. PDF, docx, slides, sheets, markdown and more. The first page shows up in about a minute.

3) Keep working as usual. Relevant facts arrive with each prompt.

4) Open the page when you want. Every line links to the source it came from. Edit or delete any line.

A small example. My own project is Substrate itself. Its page has a line "SQLite is gone from the runtime; PostgreSQL only." When I ask Claude Code to write a migration, that fact comes along with the prompt. I don't paste it in. If the line becomes wrong, I delete it and the agents stop recalling it.

You can also import your past local sessions, so the page doesn't start empty.

Some honest limits. Recall brings the facts relevant to the current prompt, not everything on the page. And it's an open beta, so expect some rough edges.
